The Admirals faced off against historic rival Marlboro Shamrocks in game two. Southern New England went on the road to Kelleher Field in Marlboro. After a quick turnover on the opening kickoff, the admirals settled in. Quarterback Jeff Costa hit wide receiver Thomas Belin for a 60 yard touchdown to take an early lead. Later the Shamrocks answered themselves with an offensive touchdown. Shortly after, the Jeff Costa lead offense re-took the lead and the team did not look back after that. WR Thomas Belin pulled double duty this game playing both offense and defense. His ability to impact the game on both sides was the difference in the first match-up of the year- resulting in a 36-22 Admirals win. The Admirals come back home this weekend for a 7pm Saturday kickoff against fellow undefeated Boston Bandits. Come show your support and what should be a great game!
